Ramblings...

I had it in my head that I was going to write about how all my life I've fought insomnia. Even as a wee little Ink, I would spend many a night in bed staring at the ceiling because my brain wouldn't shut the hell up. I think it has partly to do with the fact that I used to be a night owl... I always enjoyed being outside as the moon shone down. It was comfortable, quiet, and cool.

Speaking of the moon, as I arrived at work today and was walking into the office, I noticed that the moon is in the crescent and it's just past the harvest moon. A harvest moon is when the full moon happens near the autumnal equinox (22nd of Sep) and for whatever reason, the time between moon set and next moon rise shortens by a little. This means that the moon rises earlier in the evening (usually right after sunset) which gives farmers a little extra light to collect the harvests - hence the name harvest moon.

On a different note, now I must come clean... I have an addiction. A horrible, wasting, addiction. I, Ink and Stone, am addicted to games. That's right, games. Namely PC and X360 games. It's like crack for my mind... games are nothing more than interactive books, yet they are done so well... I just can't get enough of them. Why read about the hero that's going to slay the evil dragon when you can be the hero that slays the dragon?? Over the weekend I signed up for the Lord of the Rings MMO Beta. Hopefully, they do it well. Also, The Godfather comes out for the 360 tomorrow! Whoohoo! I'm going to try to hold off buying it, considering I just bought Enchanted Arms only 2 or so weeks ago. But, I dunno, there's something appetizing about extorting money in the form of 'protection pay' from local merchant rubes.

Anyway, that's all for now...

I'm going to make a prediction, and I know I'm going out on a limb here - you will buy the Godfather tomorrow.
